Liturgical Ministry
The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.

All Catholics who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to consider becoming a liturgical minister. After a short training session, you can serve in one or more of the following roles and serve God in the Mass at the same time you are serving the community.
Ministers generally are scheduled a week at a time, with each minister indicating which weeks he or she is available to serve. To serve, contact a member of the liturgy committee or contact David Vacchi.
Altar Server
The altar server assists the priest during mass, fulfilling various tasks including carrying the cross, assisting in holding the Roman Missal, and preparation of the altar.
Minister of the Word
Ministers of the Word proclaim Sacred Scripture to the community through the first and second readings. They also lead the people in the Prayers of the Faithful.
Minister of Hospitality
The ministers of hospitality greet community members as they arrive for Mass. They also find gift bearers, assist with seating when necessary, and assist with the offertory.
Extraordinary Minister
Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion, oftentimes abbreviated as EM’s, help distribute the consecrated hosts and precious blood during Holy Communion.
Mass Coordinator
The Mass Coordinator sets up before Mass, oversees ministers, and completes various tasks at the conclusion of Mass.
